LGBT YouthLine
About LGBT YouthLine
The helpline is staffed by peer support volunteers who are 2SLGBTQ+ youth aged 16 to 29. While they are not professional counsellors, they are trained in active listening, anti-racism, harm reduction, and topics related to gender and sexuality. Whether someone is questioning their identity, navigating family relationships, feeling isolated, or simply looking for someone to talk to, the volunteers are there to support.
More information about the volunteer training process can be found here.
